21" x 16" pen and ink on paper 2009
The image of floating bubbles filled with branches and other imagery I've drawn over the years, originated in dreams I would have many years ago. While clearing our centrelines at work some days, I’d see so much brush or bush that the imagery must have been super imposed in my subconscious mind. While trying to go to sleep some nights I would see these branches encased in bubbles floating by in my minds eye. I have come to believe that this was just a way to unwind from the days work so that I would relax and go to sleep.
The original drawing was part of a Canadian Art show that took place in December of 2008 in New York @ Agora Gallery. The show was called “Beyond Borders"
