After the Storm

This image is of the end of a thunderstorm.
I was living and working in Campbell River when this was drawn, but it is from my days in the Okanagan. Summer Thunderstorms were very common and very powerful. I was always amazed how quickly the sky would turn from black and stormy, back to blue and warm sunshine. The smell of the storm, the rainwater, would permeate the air for hours afterwards.
