Sunset at Monte Creek
7” x 10” pen & ink on paper 2005
( SOLD )

There used to be an area near the top of Monte Creek Hill ( Highway 97, between Vernon and Kamloops BC )
that had all these small pine trees seemingly placed in uniform rows. One early evening while driving by this landmark,
the sky was a brilliant orange and those trees were in silhouette, black as night. It’s an image or sight that has stayed
with me over the years. I did a drawing in the early 80’s that was similar to this called
“ Okanagan Pines “ Let me know if you ever see that one OK !
