    Mountain Dance 11 “ x 15 “ pen & ink on paper 1997 This image looks to convey low lying mist winding through the trees on the mountains just before the sun breaks through to reveal bright blue skies. One of my first thoughts about the image after I finished working on it was that the trees look like they’re dancing, happy to absorb all that nourishing moisture me thinks ! It was drawn when I was still struggling with using color in my work. |
